About

I am a potter, photographer and linguist. I speak Japanese, Mandarin, French, English as well as other dialects in each. I am interested in the language of minority speakers including Inuit, the Zhuang, the Okinawan dialect, Quebecois and many others. I like it when I hear people speak one language at home, another language in the street and a common language in the train stations, this gives people their vibrant culture and strong sense of identity and true multiculturalism.

This is the official blog of the Iroha Project – Click, Watch, Listen and Learn – Image Audio Dictionary Project. I receive completely no funding in this project and I used to have Google ads but Google ads have recently become very trashy so I have taken them down. As one blogger says, Google Adsense is blogger welfare, I say Google Adsense is Google Nonsense! ;) If anyone would like to make a contribution to the project either monetary or in the form of recorded audio or video podcasts please do get in touch with me here, and we will chat about a suitable conversational skit to record – as a way of saying thanks I will generously give you backlinks. I am always looking for new and interesting languages whether minority or not.

Meaning of [The friend is pulled to the unlucky affair]. The good luck and daytime are large good lucks in the misfortune and the evening in the morning. However, the funeral is abhorred.
