へorにwhich one is correct? Again both are correct; one is just more specific than the other.
買い物に行くis more specific. You go shopping with something specific that you intend to buy. 買い物へ行くyou are going shopping without a specific purpose to buy something. It may be said that you may be window shopping or browsing. In both expressions you will buy something but in the first example you are more specific.
