When asking for directions on the street…

The next time you are on the street and you need directions this is how a Chinese, Canadian and Japanese would reply.

The Chinese would look at you and then point in the direction and say 哪里 [over there].

The Japanese would explain in great detail and when finished say [oh you don't understand? I'm going there anyway let's go together.]

The Canadian will going into confusing detail.

Oh please, I've been given both good and bad directions from different people in every country I've been to. This post is oversimplified and stereotyped. To add my own oversimplified and stereotyped comment, I've *generally* found that young men give better directions in any country than any other demographic, but it's not a 100% rule by any means.
